All Go In The Society

With the season almost upon us there is still plenty of work going on.

For those of you who have paid your subscriptions, both new and existing members, your new Membership Books and associated paperwork was put in the post this morning. As advised in the offer of membership letter to new members, there will be a pause in sending out any others until the 1st June.

Meanwhile, volunteers continue to work hard on our work parties. The massive amount of brushwood arising from the pollarding of the White Poplar on Pit 1 has now been chipped or moved out of the way by the Thursday work parties and more chippings spread on the swims and paths. The Saturday team have worked on the dead hedges on Pit 2, topping them up and partially rebuilding them with more work on the bank where the hedge was removed. Monday evenings at Kessingland have seen work to construct a replacement platform using different materials as a trial.

If you can come along to help with the final push to get things ready that would be great.
