All lakes continue to fish well with some great reports coming through.
Pit 1 continues to deliver mixed bags of Ide, Roach and Rudd along with good Tench and Bream plus the usual numbers of double figure carp. Committee member Peter Jolly also reported a 2lb 1oz Crucian.
Pit 2 is now producing more fish including a 38lb Common and the, as predicted, first double figure Tench at 10lb 2oz.
As is normally the case, the weed has grown in Pit 4 but not as thickly as in previous years. Reports of up to 3 carp in a session in the 17 to 19lb range so still well worth a cast or two.
Tench and Bream continue to show at Kessingland with Mike Allen returning after a previously successful session. This time a fine Bream of 10lb along with a Tench and some small silvers.
Two other matters -
1. If you fished Pit 2 recently then just check your kit as a members has picked up a landing net. If you contact us and tell us what type of net you have missing we can arrange for you to be able to pick it up.
2. There have been a couple of reports of anglers abusing the disabled parking and drop off point on Pit 1. Please abide by the maximum of ten minutes to drop off or pick up your gear. Also, if you use the disabled parking you must display your disabled badge and abide by the signage ie parking in peg 1 or 2 space means you fish in respective pegs. The third space is for those that can walk further afield.
