I.D. CARDS & MEMBERSHIP BOOKS
If you have changed your address then please return your I D. card (or a new photo) so that an updated one can be issued
Please retain the constitution and rules you were originally issued with as you will only receive an updated book cover for the new season.
WORK PARTIES
The Society works hard to ensure that the facilities it provides are safe and well maintained whilst trying to deliver the right conditions for fish stocks and other wildlife.
Whilst it has been recognised that more contractors are needed to help deliver this, member work parties remain essential to get things ready for the new season and beyond. The Committee wish to thank those who have already given their time.
Please try your best to come along and lend a hand, not only will you meet other members, enjoy the banter and contribute to the running of the Society but you will receive a £5 voucher for each attendance, these can be used towards subscription payments for the following year.
We run Saturday work parties on the Reydon complex from 8am till lunchtime up untill the opening day on June 1st.
Thursday work parties, again at Reydon, usually the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month all year round but please contact Barry Reid to confirm if you will be attending in case of any changes.
Monday evening work parties at Kessingland, start between 6 and 6.30pm from the 7th April.
FACEBOOK & WEBSITE
The end of last year should have a been a time to celebrate and publicise the culmination of a serious amount of work put in to deliver the committees vision of developing pit 3 into an exclusively crucian and tench water. Unfortunately the timing coincided with our Facebook site being hacked, a deeply upsetting event, and one that seriously dented my enthusiasm for putting effort into providing content, so apologies for the lack of posts of late.
Having said that, I think its important we don't loose the opportunity to acknowledge what has been achieved over the last six months so there will be a series of posts to update everybody on what has been delivered and hopefully that will be followed by more regular updates.
