Pit 4 reopening ?

Our contractor has completed all the heavy work on pits 3 and 4 but in order to reopen Pit 4 as quickly as possible we need our members to come forward and help to move, and spread, wood chippings along the areas of bank that have been disturbed.

The ground is currently very dry but will cut up badly if it becomes wet and is walked on so time is of the essence.

We have quite a few wheel barrows available but if you have one then please bring it along together with any shovels you have.

As well as the material stock we have near Pit 2, we are expecting a load of chippings to be tipped near to Pit 4 to make things easier.

If you can make it, please get to site at 8am this Saturday morning, even if only for a few hours.

Please don't leave it for others to do and help if you can. The sooner its done, the sooner we can reopen the pit.
