R Stops Play

Due to a variety of reasons, only 2 of us were able to attend today's work party at Reydon.

With a poor weather forecast we fully expected rain to stop play. We actually got away with the weather until lunch time but another R made an impact.

We all love seeing Robins when we are fishing but don't really expect to find them making a nest in a hole in a heap of bark chippings.

We will obviously have to leave the heap until the young fledge but unfortunately it will cause some inconvenience for the first part of the season as the heap is on the drop off / turning bay of the disabled parking area on Pit 1.

We will monitor the situation, keep everybody informed, and move the heap once it is safe to do so.
