Some fantastic progress was made on Saturday with some 15 members turning up for the work party, some travelling a significant distance to attend.
On behalf of the Committee I would like to thank those who have already helped to take forward the very important work being undertaken to secure the stability of the bank, otter fence and public footpath along the far side of Pit 2.
Saturday work parties continue throughout our closed season. In addition, the next Thursday workparty is this Thursday when we will be starting to improve the footpath on Pit 1, another significant but necessary project.
