The committee have observed an increasing trend of anglers entering into the water to release fish, particularly carp. Whilst the benefit for fish welfare is a positive one, it does raise the issues of health and safety and insurance. The Committee are aware that some venues insist on this approach whilst others have banned it on safety grounds.
