Tomorrow sees another milestone in our development of Pit 3 as an exclusively tench and crucian water. Planting of native marginal plants will start with 1000 being collected from our suppliers today, thanks go to Dean and Ged for picking them up from Thetford. Since the Reydon site closed at the end of February, Leon Crossman, our tree surgeon from Wren Tree Surgery has been busy helping us to manage our trees. The large Alders on Pit 2 have become a problem, partly due to their size but also because of the huge amount of seeds they have been producing.
