SPRING IS IN THE AIR
All members know how lovely and peaceful it is down at Reydon Pits but it's even more serene during the closed season. Whilst access is not generally permitted during the shutdown, those who attend work parties, or do contract work on the site, do have the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings. A case in point is Sinclair Walton of 1st Class Environmental Services who deals with our vermin control. He loves it so much he put together a rather nice video. See what you think.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
Saturday work parties start this Saturday the 14th March at Reydon Pits starting at 8am. Please contact Dean Bridges on 07757 216308 to let him know if you are attending as it helps in organising and planning what work is to be done. Thursday work parties, usually at Reydon, the second and fourth Thursday of the month but others may be arranged dependent on weather, what needs doing or peoples availability. Usual start time is 10am but this Thursday 12th March it's 9am as we

NOT LONG LEFT
Just a reminder that if the better weather is tempting you out for a session on the banks, there's not long left to give Reydon a go . The Reydon complex closes at 6.30pm this Saturday, the 28th February. Fishing has been a bit on the slow side but Pit 1 is producing a few bream in the 3 to 4lb bracket along with carp from mid teens to mid twenties. The occasional Tench is also making an appearance.
